50 South Sixth in Minneapolis sold

A big skyscraper in Minneapolis has been sold.

Hines REIT picked up 50 South Sixth this week, but isn't talking about how much it spent.  You can read the full press release here:

Wells Fargo Center in Minneapolis Goes Green

We got a note from the people down at Hines today, letting us know that the iconic Wells Fargo Center in Minneapolis has been given LEED-EB Gold status.

The skyline of Minneapolis rises behind one of the thousands of lake that make up the sponge-like topography of Minnesota.  Note the sign warning people not to walk on the ice.  With the kind of weather that Minneapolis typically has, people have learned to embrace outdoor sports in even the most frigid conditions.
